Down in far SW Alabama some scattered thunderstorms over Washington County.
BIRMINGHAM AREA
No significant storms within a 50-mile radius at noon.
SEVERE WEATHER
The Storm Prediction Center has shifted the slight risk for the remainder of today and tonight more to the east. It now covers Central and East Georgia, all of South Carolina and SW North Carolina. No part of Alabama is under a slight risk. Important: This does not mean that a few isolated storms could become strong or even briefly severe.
