Those storms that were moving east across North Alabama this morning are continuing on that track.

By far, the strongest storms had moved over into Extreme NE Alabama by 11:15 am, mainly across Dekalb County. North Cherokee County will experience some of these shortly as they head into NW Georgia.

Meanwhile, to the west, showers from Winston and Walker County eastward into Cullman County have greatly diminished.

This may be our last update until additional storms form or approach from the west. We will be subject to those this afternoon and early evening.

A better chance of showers and thunderstorms Thursday.
