They moved into Extreme NW Alabama from Mississippi. Some of the storms are strong and producing very heavy rain.
At 5:21 pm, the NWS in Huntsville issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for East Central Colbert and Central Lauderdale County in NW Alabama until 5:45
The storm may produce quarter size hail and gusts over 60. . It was near Florence and another storm near Muscle Shoals–both moving east at 20 mph
The SPC (Storm Prediction Center) greatly reduced their slight risk area in Alabama.Earlier it was for the north half of the state. Now it only includes the NW corner.
