For the first time in several hours, no actual Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Jefferson or surrounding counties. However a Flood Advisory continues for the remainder of this afternoon for these counties:
…..Jefferson
…..Walker
…..Shelby
…..Bibb
…..Tuscaloosa
Very heavy rain continues of parts of those counties and the lightning is still very damage. Earlier this afternoon, a number of wind damage reports and a lot of flood reports. However, we do not know of any structural damage–mostly things like downed trees and power lines.
Need to stay alert for the remainder of the afternoon
