Rather quiet across Alabama at 12:30 this afternoon. There is a cluster of thunderstorms across Middle Tennessee moving SE. A few storms were crossing the Alabama border into the Tennessee Valley.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect for a large part of Middle Tennessee until 7 o’clock this evening. The watch touches the Alabama border.
We must also watch parts of North Alabama. The Storm Prediction has Extreme North Alabama under a “slight risk” this afternoon and evening. It is roughly from Cullman northward.
