As expected, scattered showers and storms have increased across our state today; many have blossomed during the past hour.
SPC has pulled a slight risk (their standard risk) of severe weather in Alabama… thanks to very steep lapse rates, and dry air aloft that can help create wet microbursts…
Of course, all of the storms in progress contain dangerous lightning and heavy rain. Let’s be careful out there this afternoon…
