For a time, it appeared that we may see Felix come onto the tropical stage.

That seems to be fading. (at least for now)

The National Hurricane Center said late this morning that the nervous weather a few hundred miles north of Puerto Rico had not become any better organized.

Also, upper level winds were becoming more unfriendly for development. That is very important.

So, for now, we wait, watch and wish (WWW) Not that we are wishing for a damaging hurricane. We want a weak tropical depression to come ashore from our friend, the Gulf of Mexico and wet down Alabama good.

If you don’t think a weak tropical depression can do the job, just look at Texas and Oklahoma recently with TD Erin!
