A broad zone of scattered showers and thunderstorms early this afternoon, extended from Arkansas across Kentucky, Tennessee, West Virginia, Ohio and into the west part of Pennsylvania and New York.
All of this stuff was moving generally toward the east. The showers and storms are rather widely spaced, but were increasing in number.
Some of those were developing down into North Alabama and we will be dealing with scattered showers and thunderstorms for the remainder of this afternoon and evening. There may be a better chance this evening than this afternoon.
The best chance of all for showers and thunderstorms will be tomorrow.
