A few strong storms are scattered across eastern Alabama this evening, generally in a pie shape from northern parts of the Birmingham metro up to around Fort Payne, with the other leg extending down to Roanoke.

The strongest storm is between Vincent and Talladega in Talladega County. Lots of lightning, and perhaps some small hail in that storm.

Another decent storm is near Springville in St. Clair County.

These storms will continue moving southeastward over the next couple of hours.

Looking to the west, nothing going on in Mississippi. The activity over East Alabama may be the last hurrah for the evening.
