Showers and thunderstorms continue to invade Alabama from the west, while plenty others are forming on the spot. At 2:00 p.m., the strongest thunderstorm extended from Lawrence and East Franklin County in the NW to Lamar County adjacent to the Mississippi border in West Alabama. It is pouring rain over the south half of Lamar County.
Further south, thunderstorms are fairly widespread over Central and SW Alabama, not a part of the line mentioned above. It is raining heavily in places like Wilcox and Monroe County as well as between Clanton and Prattville.
Probably the strongest storms of all are in Lamar County.
