Thunderstorms continue across parts of Alabama this evening…
…Storms over northern Fayette County are quite strong…they will be approaching the City of Fayette.
…A couple of storms over Tuscaloosa County are growing…one is over I-59 east of Tuscaloosa…another is in northeastern Tuscaloosa County. This will move toward the cities of Tuscaloosa and Northport.
…Storms over western Jefferson and Shelby Counties should start going downhill and they have ejected a distinct outflow boundary to the west. This boundary will help to intensify the storms over eastern Tuscaloosa County.
…Heavy showers over Tallapoosa, Chambers and Randolph Counties in East Alabama near the center of the remnant low of Tropical Depression #5.
…Be alert for very heavy rain and lightning from the stronger storms. Just saw an accident that happened just before we passed the ROebuck Parkway exit on I-59 southbound from Trussville.
