A 47 mph wind gust was just measured at the Aliceville Lock and Dam in Pickens County.
The dangerous storm continues from Pickensville to Carrollton to Gordo across Pickens COunty.
It is pushing south at about 10 mph.
A severe thunderstorm warning continues for Pickens, Greene and Sumter counties.
Damaging winds and torrential rain and deadly lightning are likely with this severe storm.
