Here we go again, it is a daily event with all this deep tropical moisture. Showers and scattered thunderstorms were moving steadily northward through southwest and West Alabama late this afternoon. By 4:40 pm, they had advanced as far inland as Lamar, Tuscaloosa, Shelby and SW Jefferson County. Northport has already received 0.36 rain.

The tropical low (once TD-5) was inland over South Louisiana and Southwest Mississippi. NWS in New Orleans has posted a Flash Flood Warning until this evening for a number of locations including the Baton Rouge area.
