Main showers and thunderstorms in Alabama were over the NW part of the state late this afternoon.
At 5:15 pm, a line of showers and storms extended from the north edge of Pickens County northeastward across Extreme southeast Lamar County, Northwest Fayette into Western Winston and Lawrence County. Very heavy rain along that line. Movement east and northeast
Bear Creek, in NW Alabama, has been drenched with 1.31 inches of rain this afternoon.
Another area of showers, moderate to heavy, located between Guntersville and Huntsville.
Down across Central and South Alabama the showers are less numerous and widely spaced.
