Showers have moved into NW Alabama. Most of them were over Franklin, Colbert and Lauderdale County.
Other lighter showers were forming over West Central Alabama.
Over on the east side of the state, scattered showers and thunderstorms were in progress at noon over East Tallapoosa, Chambers and Randolph. Some of these were producing heavy rain.
Everything was moving toward the NNE
