Bona fide tropical air coveres Alabama this afternoon.

You can fell it the minute you step out the door. A real contrast to about a week ago.

The tropical depression that moved inland Friday night was a big help in bringing the change in atmosphere.

Despita that, a a few showers were in progress across central Alabama at 2:15 this afternoon. They were mostly from Tuscaloosa County eastward to Coosa and Tallapoosa County.

Moving generally northward.

Down south, a line of showers and thunderstorms was from Choctaw and Washington County eastward to near Andalusia and Elba. Heavy rain in those + considerable lightning. That line was moving NNW.
