Unfortunately, that line of showers that was progressing southeastward across North Alabama has broken up.
So much so that showers are hard to find from Birmingham northward.
Most of the showers and thunderstorms just before 1 o’clock were across Central and East Central Alabama. A few of the more notable ones:
…..Wilcox County, west of Camden
…..NW Pickens County along U.S. 82
…..Talladega-Clay County line midway between Talladega and Lineville
…..South and West Randolph County
…..South Cleburne County along and south of I-20
Actually, the strongest thunderstorms of all have moved over into West Georgia.
