NWS/Birminghm has just cancelled the Tornado Watch for these additional counties!

At 2:30 am, the line of storms extended from near Guntersville southwestward to just west of Birmingham then through East Tuscaloosa County to near Moundville and Livingston in West Alabama.
The line continues to move east but it has weakened a great deal. Can’t rule out some warning along and east of the line.
The line is still to pass through Birmingham but it has weakened enough that the NWS went ahead and cancelled for Jefferson.
So far, no Tornado Warnings have been issued in Alabama with this line of storms.
Sure will be interesting to compile some South Alabama rain amounts later today especially in the South. Seems like it has been raining buckets full over the south third of the state since early yesterday, Jackson, in SW Alabama had already received well over four inches by mid-morning yesterday!
