Late tonight, a line of showers and even a few thunderstorms was moving SE across Extreme North Alabama.
At 10:30 pm, the line extended from East Tennessee down across the Huntsville area and into NW Alabama’s Marion County.
Lightning activity has greatly decreased in these storms although there was a nice cluster of lightning over NE Mississippi. A thunderstorm was in progress at Tupelo Airport in NE Mississippi.
The line of showers/storms was along or near a cold front which will be bringing the lowest temperatures so far thios season to Alabama.
