Latest GFS and GEM models indicate that the system will slow down, but then get kicked through here by another system late Wednesday or Wednesday night, with a little bit of rain. But, the best dynamics look further north.
Hopefully, soon, we will get a low in the Gulf and a nice over-running rain event, with slow, steady rain for hours. That starts becoming more common as we go into the winter.
