Wow…the wind has been amazing this evening. Here is a line up of some wind gust from our skycam locations across the state:
Birmingham: 47
Hamilton: 38
Cheaha: 34
Inverness: 40
Tuscaloosa: 47
Demopolis: 38
Gadsden: 23
Jasper: 33
Gulf Shores: 40
Cullman: 39
Clanton: 21
Montgomery: 11
Selma: 33
Decatur: 45
Huntsville: 39
The wind speeds have been anywhere between 5 and 40 mph. I think we’ll see a lot of leaves on the ground by morning. And the kicker is that the winds will still be up for a good part of tomorrow anywhere between 10 and 25 mph. Bundle up, it will feel like December once again! I think I’ll have to break out some hot chocolate tomorrow!
Have a great night!
