The main line of thunderstorms in Alabama at 9:15 extended from Lafayette in Chambers County (near the Georgia border) southward to near Tuskegee and Union Springs, to NW of Troy and south of Greenville.
The thunderstorms moving east to ENE. The line, however, was sinking slowly southward.
Lightning return from these storms quite impressive but it has lessened slightly in the last hour.
To the north, most of the storms have diminished from Randolph and Cleburne west and north. That does not mean everything has ended. There is a good area of light to moderate rain in such areas as Randolph, Clay, Cleburne, Calhoun and Talladega County.
Even some moderate showers way back in Cullman County.
