By far the heaviest showers in Alabama (with a few thunderstorms) existed in a line from near Jasper across NW Cullman County to Hartselle and Huntsville in Extreme North Alabama.
Very little lightning, in fact it has gone downhill more within the hour.
By far, the main lightning show is from West Kentucky northward across SE Illinois and up through West Indiana to South Bend.
