* At 3:30 pm, the Ashley County EMA reported 3/4 diameter hail at Hamburg, Ark., on U.S. 82 in SE Arkansas. Trees were also down near the school.
(Used to fill my tank when driving west at the Esso Station in the center of town right after U.S. 82 turned south and headed toward Crosset. Fondly remember some 23 cents per gallon gasoline there. I am sure Vic Bell remembers the station well)
