Please scroll down for the text of the Severe Thunderstorm Warnings. At 7:20, the severe storms were located near where Walker, Blount and Cullman Counties join close to Smokerise on I-65 N. Another intense storm was crossing the Jefferson/Blount County line.
THESE REPORTS
* Public reports penny-size hail (3/4-inch in diameter) at 7:05 p.m. just NE of Sipsey.
* 5 miles north of Cordova at 6:48 p.m. hail 3/4-inch in diameter was reported along US-78 just SE of Jasper.
* Another report earlier indicated penny-size hail at Sipsey in Eastern Walker County.
