A thunderstorm continues moving across Central Blount County. This is part of the group of thunderstorms that triggered a Severe Thunderstorm Warning earlier. It is a lot weaker now but still producing some lightning.
Elsewhere, at 8:20 pm, there were scattered storms over North Winston County and along the Cullman/Morgan County line.
They are few in number and moving ENE.
Earlier, the NWS/Huntsville had issued a Special Weather Statement for the storms along the Cullman/Morgan County line. This is also called a Significant Weather Alert which falls short of a Severe Thunderstorm Warning.
