Just before 5 o’clock the main line of thunderstorms had moved down into North Bibb and North Shelby County.
In areas NE of Birmingham the line has broken up somewhat (not as well organized)
Also, in West Alabama, places like Greene and Hale County, the line of storms not as strong. Even so, there is plenty of lightning and some brief heavy rain along with strong gusty winds.
The line of storms continues to move steadily toward the SE. This does not mean the rain has completely ended. Still quite a few showers behind the line.
