The group of showers and thunderstorms that moved east across North Mississippi moved into NW Alabama earlier this evening.
At 8 o’clock tonight most of the showers (and a few thunderstorms) were over Marion, Winston and Lawrence County extending as far east at the Huntsville-Hartselle areas.
Still moving east but slowly diminishing. Still some lightning in the area.
Quite a temperture contrast across the state today. High was only 60 at Muscle Shoals, while at the opposite corner of the state, a toasty 86 in Dothan.
