Water Rescues…(sigh)

Once again, Birmingham Fire is having to do water rescues this afternoon.

According to John Talbot, rescues have been performed at Richard Arrington and 30th/31st Streets. Another on 71st Street.

All this with around an inch of rain at the Birmingham Airport.

Please…please…please: do not drive into standing of flowing water. It takes only a foot of flowing water to sweep away a car and less to stall it out.

Remember, turn around, don’t drown!
