The heaviest storms are over Blount County over North Central Alabama and over Elmore County in South Central Alabama at this hour. These storms will move southeast over St. Clair County, affecting areas from Oneonta to Ashville. An areal flood advisory was just issued for Blount County. Be alert for flooding.
