A few scattered showers developed late this afternoon across Central Alabama mostly between Birmingham and Montgomery. A few more numerous over Shelby and Chilton County.
Still widely spaced and mostly light.
They were moving toward the NNE.
Nearest strong thunderstorms at 5:15 were along the Mississippi River along the Tennessee-Arkansas border.
