The Severe Thunderstorm Warning expired for Elmore County at 6:45.
There are still several strong thunderstorms in the general vicinity of Montgomery and surrounding counties.
Wetumpka Police reported hail 1.75 inch in diameter (golf ball size) at 5:55 pm at intersection of Elmore County Roads 8 and 59. This is about 4 miles ESE of Wetumpka.
A NWS trained storm spotter measured about 2.25 inches of rain on the west side of Tallassee and the temperature dropped to 68.
