CHECKING ON AN OLD FRIEND
We sort of “adopted” Caribou, Maine as a place to keep a check on this winter and spring because of their excessive snow. We also checked often on Green Bay and Milwaukee. In Caribou this morning there is ZERO snow on the ground. Their total for April remains at 7 inches and their season total an all-time record 197.8 inches. That is 92 inches more than all of last season. They could still reach that magic 200-inch mark before all is said and done. NWS/Caribou is expecting heavy rain this afternoon and tonight with a high today of 52 and a Flood Watch because of rain!
