NWS/Birmingham canceled the Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Clay, Cleburne and Talladega County.
At 5:25 pm. The main line of thunderstorms had shifted over into East Alabama. It extended from near Centre in CherokeeCounty southward to near Anniston, and along the Clay/Talladega line into Central Alabama’s Chilton County.
Pouring rain in parts of Chilton County and an Urban and Small Stream Advisory was posted including the Jemison and Clanton area.
The weather is now quiet over a great part of North and West Alabama after a rather wild afternoon.
Within the last few minutes, NWS/Huntsville canceled the Tornado Watch for Dekalb and Jackson County in the NE corner of Alabama.
