….Practically no showers in Alabama at 2:45 am
….Numerous showers and thunderstorms over Central and West Mississippi producing locally heavy rain and an abundance of lightning. Some of these storms will reach West Alabama by daybreak.
….The most intense thunderstorms of all were in a line from the Texarkana/Shreveport area southward through Extreme East and SE Texas. A number of warnings with those including at least two Tornado Warnings.
….Enormous lightning return from those East Texas storms. Also much lightning over the NW Gulf of Mexico.
….A Tornado watch in effect for Extreme East Texas, SW Arkansas, North and West Louisiana. SPC is considering another watch further southward into Louisiana.
