Are you sure? I feel like you may be bug-eyed from reading the extremely long list last night–the most we have ever posted at one time. But, since the last 24 hours has been one of the biggest drought fighters so far, we list some additional reports that came in this morning and some that we overlooked last night.

Sorry that I lost the report from Clay/Deerfoot Parkway. These reports are courtesy of the National Weather Service Co-op Observers, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, TVA, NASA rain gauge network, Alabama Power Company, 33/40 skywatchers and private gauges. We must point out that most of these reports are for the last 24 hours (7:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m.), so many of the communities listed over on the west side of the state had additional rain before daybreak yesterday.
