Early this afternoon, two lines of thunderstorms extended from West Kentucky down through West Tennessee and the easternmost line extended into the extreme NE corner of Mississippi.
These storms are expected to slowly increase in intensity as they move east. The Storm Prediction Center is actually considering a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for West Kentucky, West Tennessee, extreme North Mississippi and possibly even into the NW corner of Alabama.
We will watch it closely.
As of 12:15 this afternoon, there were no showers in Alabama, except possibly one or two over extreme Eastern Lauderdale County.
