They developed this afternoon over parts of Jefferson, St. Clair and Etowah County.
This included a moderate to heavy shower passing through the Birmingham area and moving NE. It was moving into the NE part of the city at 2:10 this afternoon.
Another small shower was just north of Tuscaloosa.
Saturday is somewhat of a puzzle. We believe this part of Alabama will have very few showers. However, the Storm Prediction Center has placed about the north one-third of Alabama under a slight risk tomorrow.
