Another cluster of intense thunderstorms over NW Mississippi may give us more trouble later this evening. We have received numerous reports this afternoon of hail–some of it as large as the size of quarters and at least one or two reports of golf-ball size hail. There has also been scattered wind damage, but apparently not major. Up in the Tennessee Valley, we also have some reports of flash flooding including the NE part of Huntsville.

A late Warning: NWS in Huntsville has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Eastern Cullman County until 6:30. The storm was located near Hanceville, which is south of the city of Cullman and moving SE at 20 mph.
