Overall, thunderstorms have weakened. But not all. Some of the strongest ones were over NE Coosa County.

Other fairly strong ones were across West Alabama from Tuscaloosa westward to Carrollton. Moving north.

NWS Birmingham posted a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for:

* South Central Coosa County
* NW Elmore County

This area is in East Central Alabama.

This includes Rockford.

The warning was based on a severe thunderstorm near Weoka Mills or 9 miles NW of Wetumpka and moving north at 22 mph. It may have penny size hail and wind gusts over 60.

The nearest thunderstorm to Birmingham was just north of Tuscaloosa.

A neat little outflow boundary was located from the Tuscaloosa-Jefferson County line southeastward across SW Shelby County into East Chilton County and north Coosa County. It could trigger a few more showers and thunderstorms as it moves slowly northward.
