Most of the stronger thunderstorms this afternoon have formed down over South Alabama and the East Central area.
However, a few storms weredeveloping further north. At 4:15, for example:
1. A storm along the Shelby-St. Clair County line between Leeds and Pell City was small but strong enough to create an outflow boundry.
2. Thunderstorm over Central Tuscaloosa County NE of Tuscaloosa and Northport was growing stronger.
3. Strong thunderstorm SE of Alexander City in Talladega County.
4. Thunderstorm in Perry County near Marion.
Movement was generally slowly toward the north.
