A line of scattered thunderstorms was across NW Alabama late this afternoon.
Not a solid line, by any means. They extended from Lamar County NE across Marion and NW Winston Counties to along the Cullman/Morgan County line.
Other scattered thunderstorms were over extreme North Alabama from north of Huntsville over to north of the Ft. Payne/Scottsboro area.
Everything was moving SE.
Earlier there was a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for part of Limestone County. No warnings are in effect now.
Meanwhile, down over extreme SW Alabama, there were Severe Thunderstorm Warnings earlier for parts of Mobile, Baldwin and Washington Counties. Those warnings are no longer in effect.
There were few, if any, showers and storms across Central Alabama at 4:30 this afternoon.
