Thunderstorms Extreme NW getting stronger. The Storm Prediction Center issued an updated discussion that some of the storms could produce hail and strong winds. They do not anticipate a formal Severe Thunderstorm Watch.
Meanwhile, NWS/Huntsville has issued another Significant Weather Alert for Colbert and Franklin County until 3:20 pm. Based on strong thunderstorms 5 miles north of Russellville and near Rock Creek, both moving SE at 25 mph.
Hail 1/2 inch in diameter and gusts over 50 possible.
