If you have been outside today, you can feel the higher humidity and the net result is, Bingo! We have showers developing.

Shortly after 1 o’clock, the radar landscape looked like this:

* Several showers over West Alabama including one along the west tip of Jefferson County and Extreme South Walker County.

* Another along the Bibb/Tuscaloosa County line.

Movement is toward the NNW and the showers will be growing stronger.

* Showers and a few thunderstorms a little more numerous over SE Alabama from west of Montgomery eastward to the Georgia border and down to between Troy and Dothan. Strongest one was over Lee County near Opelika.

OUR NEIGHBORS TO THE WEST
Stronger thunderstornms over SW Mississippi have triggered a couple of Severe Thunderstorm Warnings from the NWS/Jackson.
