A few moderate to heavy showers have formed over West Central Alabama late this afternoon. Showers were observed as far north as Aliceville, Brent, Centreville, Moundville and the Tuscaloosa/Northport area.
Bud Bean, 3340 Skywatcher in Northport reported a heavy downpour and gusts to 32 mph about 5:10 pm. The showers are generally small.
A few isolated showers also over NW Alabama.
