A few light showers are affecting some of our southern counties. Some of these showers have made it as far north as Demopolis and Clanton, but the main shower activity is south of U.S. Highway 80 through the Black Belt of Alabama. These showers will last a few more hours, but will be dissipating as drier air moves in from the northwest.
Over our northwestern counties, colder air is filtering into state. Temperatures are dropping through the 40s and are heading into the mid-30s overnight. Much of Central Alabama will see 30s for overnight lows as well, and we will only see mid-40s for afternoon highs tomorrow. Even though it will be colder tomorrow, the sun will return as morning clouds give way to afternoon sun.
