Thunderstorms were very scarce over North and Central Alabama late this afternoon. Most of the showers and storms were over about the south third of the state south of the Demopolis-Prattville-Dadeville line.
Over North and Central:
* A thunderstorm over Extreme SW Shelby County along the Bibb County line.
* Over NW Alabama over East Colbert and Extreme NE Franklin County
That is not every shower but a couple of the stronger ones. Movement is slow and erratic meaning that a few communities will get a good dose of rain. For example, places near Montevallo, Aldrich, Pea Ridge and Marvel.
