That line of thunderstorms across North Alabama is not as solid as earlier–and generally not as strong. At 7:15, the line was roughly along the Fayette-Jasper-Cullman-Guntersville-Fort Payne line. Many of the storms are much weaker, although some remain strong. Some of the strongest storms, and the biggest rain producers:

* Dekalb County, NE Alabama, east of Fort Payne
* East edge of Fayette County across NW Walker County

Besides that line, there was another area of thunderstorms over East Central Alabama from Talladega to Heflin.

A Significant Weather Alert was still in effect until at least 7:30 for Fayette, Walker, Dekalb and Cleburne County.

And, just issued, a Flash Flood Warning for East Dekalb County until 9 o’clock tonight. Included in the warning:

Ider
Henagar
Mentone
Fort Payne

Flash Flood Warning for Limestone County has been cancelled.
