Those widely spaced showers that formed over North/Central Alabama late this morning, continue to move toward the SSW. The family of showers has not only increased in number, but also they have grown stronger. At 1:50 p.m., most of the showers were from Jefferson County as far south as the west/central part of the state around Marion, Greensboro and Eutaw.
Some of the heavier showers were over South Hale County SW of Greensboro and moving directly toward Demopolis. Another lone shower was near Marion in Perry County and there were several showers crossing Bibb County.
Over on the west side of the state, there were a couple of showers in North Pickens County west and SW of Reform.
