Heads Up Central Alabama

Strong and severe storms continue to move towards the south across Central Alabama. It looks as though they will continue to maintain intensity into the Birmingham Metro, but should begin to slowly weaken.

Storms are producing large hail, damaging winds, torrential rainfall, and tremendous amounts of lightning. Plan ahead for these very dangerous storms as they will be impacting areas along the Interstate 20 corridor within the next hour or so.
